This is our Forged Bunka, hand-forged by Joe and Jimmy in Somerset, UK. This blade was made out of an old wrought iron fence.

HANDLE: Octagonal handle made out of waste plastic in Lancaster, England. The plastic is collected, washed, shredded and melted into the handle shape.

BLADE: Bunka (forged)
This is a good all-rounder blade, similar to a Santoku but with a straight tip.

STEEL: 52100 + wrought iron fence
This blade has been made out of an old wrought iron fence, clad with 52100 high carbon steel.

FINISH: Kurouchi
The kurouchi also known as the 'blacksmiths finish' is black scale that has been left on the blade. This is to prevent rusting (but we think it also looks great).
