This is our best-selling, all-rounder kitchen knife hand-forged by Joe and Jimmy of Thorn Wood Forge in Somerset, England. If you were going to pick one knife for everything, this is the one.
HANDLE: Octagonal handle made out of waste plastic. The plastic is collected, washed, shredded and melted into the handle shape. Our waste source is always changing depending on what is collected, so there can be variations in colour. No two handles will ever be the same, so yours is a one-off.
BLADE: Santoku (forged)
This is the Japanese version of a Western chef's knife. This is your all-rounder kitchen knife. Santoku translates as “three benefits” and relates to the knife's ability to slice, dice and mince.
STEEL: 52100 (British).
This is an incredibly sharp high carbon British steel. It has great rust resistance and holds an edge well.
