Santoku - Kerrygold

This handle has been made out of Kerrygold's plastic waste. The plastic is collected, washed, shredded and melted into the handle shape. No two handles will ever be the same, so yours is a one-off. 

This is the Japanese version of a Western chef's knife. This is your all-rounder kitchen knife. Santoku translates as “three benefits” and relates to the knife's ability to slice, dice and mince.

This is a solid, super sharp, stainless steel with great edge retention.

The blade has been handmade in Solingen, Germany by a family that have been making knives since 1790.
