This is our all-rounder, original Petty knife handmade by Goto in Seki, Japan.

HANDLE: Octagonal handle made out of waste plastic. The plastic is collected, washed, shredded and melted into the handle shape. Our waste source is always changing depending on what is collected, so there can be variations in colour. No two handles will ever be the same, so yours is a one-off.

BLADE: Petty
A petty is a small utility knife that's nifty and good for your smaller jobs - but it can be used for everything.

STEEL: SK4
This is an unbelievably sharp carbon steel. Because of the carbon the blade can rust, so it needs special care. We have included a knife care booklet inside your order so you can properly maintain the blade. Please note this blade is hand-wash only.

MAKER: Goto

HRC: 65
The blade has a very thin edge so it can chip. Please be careful when cutting through bones or placing the knife in a cutlery drawer.
